Accidents - Death/Disability
DV Associates' experience with both the preparation of loss of income reports due
to accident and the giving of testimony before judge and jury covers a 20 year period.
Cases worked on involve both automobile accidents as well as other types of accidents
and encompass different levels of disability as well as death.
Employment Termination
Employment termination or wrongful dismissal cases often involve significant losses
under an employer's pension and benefit plans. DV Associates has put together loss
of pension and benefits reports for wrongful dismissal situations for over 20 years.
Testimony in court for a number of wrongful dismissal cases has been provided.
Family Law
Although DV Associates has knowledge of family law matters, we do not undertake
preparation of reports for marriage breakdown situations. We can, however, recommend
one or two actuaries who have extensive experience in this area and who prepare
competitively priced and professional reports.
