Donald Armstrong, Principal and Senior Consultant Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, 1974

  In 1997 after 5years operating his own consulting firm under the name Donaldson Associates, Don Formed Donaldson Vincent Associates with B. J. Vincent Company Limited and Vincent Associates Inc. Don has extensive experience as a Consulting Actuary in the employee benefit field. From 1973 to 1992 Don was the leader of a consulting team, at the Wyatt Company (now Watson Wyatt), specializing in pension plan design, statements and communications, actuarial valuation, costings for union negotiations and administration only arrangements for life and health plans and risk modeling for Long Term Disability and Survivor Income plans.

  Don's experience is primarily with private sector corporations ranging from less than 100 employees up to 5,000 employees. Since 1992 this experience has broadened out to non-profit organisations of all types, extensive work with both large and small law firms and a growing and innovative practice in the investment field.

  Don has participated on and chaired numerous boards, some of which include the Ecuhome Corporation and the Canadian Association of Pre-Pension Planners (CAPP). In addition, Don has been a speaker for the Law Society of Upper Canada and at conferences for the Association of Canadian Pension Management and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.

Dennis J. Schettler, Senior Consultant Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, 1974

  Dennis joined Donaldson Vincent Associates in 2003. For many years Dennis worked in senior management positions at Aetna Canada and then moved into the pension benefits consulting business 12 years ago when he joined Sedgwick, Noble Lowdnes, later acquired by William M. Mercer. Much of Dennis' consulting involved working with large and small clients on administration procedures including design work on a major pension administration system. More recently Dennis has consulted with third party administrators of multi-employer plans and provided pension option communications seminars to members of a national association.

Janny Vincent, Principal

  Following six years of pension consulting with B.J. Vincent Company Limited, Janny formed her own information management/software development company in 1984. Today Vincent Associates is the co-owner and managing partner of Fundata Canada, Canada's source for investment fund information.
